Hello! I’m Oliver, and I am currently accepting requests for commissions. Most of my character commissions are D&D or other ttrpg characters, but I am happy to draw other original characters or fanart. If you’re interested, send me an email at art@allofthenorth.com to ask if I can draw your character. :)

Commission Process

Step 1) Say hi!

Contact me by email at art@allofthenorth.com to ask to be added to my commission list! :D

Step 2) description

Send me a description of your character. This can be as detailed or as vague as you want – if vague, I can fill in these details for you! I love getting reference photos, which can include specific items (e.g. cloak of protection) or aesthetic inspiration.

Hair: color, style, length (e.g. black with blue highlights on the front, small tight curls, shoulder length, etc)
Body type: species, skin color, race, height, weight, age, body shape (e.g. muscular, curvy, thick thighs, lanky arms, etc)
Outfit: adventuring gear, jewelry, accessories, pants, cape, etc
Other details: eye color, scars, etc
Personality: smug, confident, curious, flirty, etc. This will determine the pose I draw them in.

Step 3) Payment

When I have accepted your commission request, send payment up front to paypal.me/allofthenorth or @allofthenorth on Venmo.

Step 4) Art time!

I will send you a rough sketch, showing the character’s pose and overall design. This is the time for the MOST feedback, as things are very easy to change at this stage! Let me know if you would like a different pose, different clothes, etc. If you request changes, I will send you a new sketch with those changes.

When you have approved the sketch, I will refine it to show details and then send it back to you. At this stage, let me know if there are details you would like to change like adding jewelry, changing the facial expression, etc.

When the detailed drawing is approved, I will add in flat colors and send it back for a last check. This is the time to tell me if you would rather have a green cape, if the skin tone is too light, etc.

When the colors are approved, I will add shading and then send you the finished art!
